Herbed Shaved Parmesan Pizzelle





Here is a very quick and easy three ingredient aperitivo recipe that friends love everytime I make it! First, you will want to line a round, shallow baking pan with parchment paper. Next, cover close to full diameter of baking pan with an even, thin coat of the shaved parmesan and sprinkle with Italian Seasoning and mixed ground peppercorns. Meanwhile, preheat oven on broil to four hundred degrees fahrenheit. When preheat has reached it’s optimal temp., place Parmesan in oven for about four minutes or until golden. Let the pizzelle cool down at room temp. and dry the excess oil from the cheese with a paper towel. Next cut into thin triangles and you’re ready to plate. Enjoy with champagne, Blanquette de Limoux, prosecco or cava. The saltiness of the parmesan with a racy sparkling wine makes a delicious combination that you and your guests will love.
