Here’s a bit of interesting info on McLaren Vale Australia. McLaren Vale is a township in the wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia. A number of grapes are grown in this region, the superstar being the well known Syrah from France which the Australians call Shiraz.

The highest part of McLaren Vale rises to 1050 feet above sea level.

The soil type is generally quite poor, with a composition for the most part of sand with a clay base.
